I lol when I read "moved cat-like straight upstairs"! Don't I relate to that one, looking out for kidless corners of the house, even for just a few minutes :).

And I do look forward to hearing your take on Tiger Mother. Being a peaceful parenting mama, I find appalling the extreme methods that Tiger mother raises her daughters in. But honestly it would be fair for me to judge completely until I read it myself. I'll tell you what's interesting though, reading all the comments and discussion threads on Amazon about this book!
